# Refund Policy

> Last updated July 15, 2026

This Refund Policy applies to all purchases made on JoJ API (operated by APRYCO, LLC) and forms part of our [Terms of Service](/legal/tos). To request a refund, email [team@jojapi.com](mailto:team@jojapi.com) from your account email address and include the receipt or invoice number of the payment (available under **Workspace → Billing**).

## Wallet Top-Ups

Wallet funds are a prepayment for platform usage. The **unused portion** of your wallet balance is refundable on request, to the original payment method. Non-recoverable payment-processing fees may be deducted from the refunded amount.

**Cryptocurrency top-ups are non-refundable.** Crypto payments are irreversible and cannot be returned to the sender; balance funded with cryptocurrency remains available for platform use.

## Subscription Payments

You can cancel any subscription at any time, effective at the end of the current billing period. Subscription fees already paid are **generally non-refundable** — including when you choose to cancel immediately mid-period: unused time and unused quota are not refunded.

If an automatic renewal was charged in error, contact us **within 7 days** of the charge. If the renewed period is unused (or usage is negligible), we will refund the renewal.

## Pay-As-You-Go Usage

Pay-as-you-go charges are metered payments for API calls that have already been delivered, so **consumed usage is non-refundable**. Every closed billing period is documented with an invoice under **Workspace → Billing**.

## Billing Errors

Charges resulting from a platform error — duplicate charges, incorrect amounts, or usage billed contrary to a plan's published pricing — are always corrected. We refund the difference to the original payment method or credit it to your wallet, at your preference.

## Third-Party APIs

APIs on the marketplace are operated by independent providers, and payments for an API's plans and usage are largely passed on to its provider. If an API you paid for is materially unavailable or does not work as described, contact us — we review such cases individually and may credit or refund the affected charges.

Because the provider is the seller of the underlying service, we may **consult the API's provider** before deciding on a refund request that concerns their API, and this review may extend the processing time. **If the provider declines the request, we may decline the refund as well.** Billing errors caused by the platform itself (see above) are always corrected by us directly, without requiring the provider's approval.

## How Refunds Are Processed

Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method whenever possible, typically within 5–10 business days depending on the payment processor; otherwise they are credited to your wallet. We never send a refund to a different card, account, or wallet than the one that made the payment.

## Chargebacks

If you believe a charge is wrong, please contact us before disputing it with your bank or payment provider — billing issues are almost always resolved faster this way. Accounts with unresolved fraudulent chargebacks may be suspended.

## Statutory Rights

Nothing in this policy limits any non-waivable rights you have under applicable consumer protection law. Where a statutory withdrawal right applies to digital services, you request immediate performance by topping up or subscribing, and the withdrawal right lapses to the extent the service has already been performed — any unused wallet balance remains refundable as described above.
